Background

The project is located along Galena Blvd, New York St, and Ohio St from Locust St to Ohio St in the City of Aurora. The project has a net length of 3.36 miles with an estimated construction cost around $4,400,000. The project is currently estimated at 90 working days, but may be converted to a completion date contract before advertisement.

The project includes 3 inch milling and resurfacing, ADA sidewalk ramp replacement, spot sidewalk repairs, spot curb and gutter repairs, Class B Patching (on Galena Blvd Fox River Bridges), Class D Patching, impact attenuator installation, pavement marking, landscaping, and other appurtenant work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans.

The latest submitted plans and specs are attached for reference. The Construction and Construction Engineering are anticipated to be funded with a combination of federal (STP-L) and local funds.
