The DOI-U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), JAO, Falls Church, VA intends to award a sole source firm fixed price order under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition procedures to.
ALLIANT INSURANCE SERVICES, INC, Irvine, California. This requirement is for continuity of services for a monoline automobile liability insurance policy coverage for international operations in Canada established between USFWS Migratory Bird Management (MBM) and ALLIANT INSURANCE SERVICES, INC.
The ALLIANT INSURANCE SERVICES has worked collaboratively with USFWS Migratory Bird Management for the past year to provide ongoing support for a highly influential
project regarding management of harvest of waterfowl and other migratory birds. in Canada.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s (USFWS) Division of Migratory Bird Management (DMBM) requires automobile liability insurance policy to provide coverage of operations of government vehicles in Canada where the Federal Tort Claims Act does not apply.
The service consists of a monoline international automobile liability insurance policy for Canada operations for up to 13 government vehicles and three government trailers used to tow boats.
These activities have followed a decision-based framework and reaching a critical phase where continued service with ALLIANT INSURANCE SERVICES, INC is critical to ensure compliance and maintenance of our monoline international insurance policy coverage; the shared obligations with Canada under the Migratory Bird Convention and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act are met, and the management of harvest of waterfowl and other migratory birds monitoring activities are successfully achieved.
The North American Industry classification (NAICS) code is 524210
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, firms with expressed interest and capability are encouraged to respond. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
