The purpose of this amendment is to answer submitted questions. Due date remains the same, 06/24/2026 1500 PST. No additional questions may be accepted. Interested vendors shall provide an instrument that meets or exceeds the technical specifications of a Aviat Eclipse IRU600 Radio Platform and terminal.
Contractors are required to sign and return copies to the issuing agency.

The requested equipment is Aviat Eclipse IRU600 Radio Platform, Operating Band: 7/8 GHz band, NTIA Band Compliant, Monitoring Hot Standby (MHSB), Space Diversity (SD) and Frequency Diversity (FD) Configuration. Eclipse IRU600 Radio Terminal, includes microwave radio equipped with protected Ethernet and DS1 interface; FIP140-2, payload encryption licenses; equipment rack and accessories; one set of spare; network management hardware and license. 5 years warranty.

2. Please provide the site's coordinates or address. We need this information to determine the size of the antennas for this Microwave Link.

Antennas are not needed. This microwave link is already established. This is an equipment-only order for an already established microwave link.

Request for Quote: microwave communication equipment per the attached Technical Specifications.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with RFO FAR part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.

The solicitation number is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) 140G0326Q0112.

This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at https://www.acquisition.gov/far-overhaul/far-part-deviation-guide.

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01 dated 03/13/2026.

***Items offered must meet or exceed the technical specifications. Interested parties shall submit sufficient documentation and explain how offerings meet, exceed, or differ from each Salient Characteristic for the USGS to evaluate in order to determine technical acceptability of their offer. Merely providing technical specifications without direct comparison is insufficient for evaluation. An addendum may be included with submittal. Failure to provide the requested information may result in removal from the award consideration.***

Any award resulting from this RFQ will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable method.

Equipment Requirement: New equipment ONLY, NO grey market or refurbished products. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

USGS is tax-exempt.
