FY27 West and North Bay Maintenance Dredging Project

Project Description: The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to:
Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete mechanical dredging of an estimated 37,299 cubic yards (CY) of sediment from the existing West Bay Inner Entrance Channel and North Bay – Bay Street Channels in West Bay, Osterville, Barnstable, MA. Sediments are to be mechanically dredged and loaded into bottom dumping scows for transportation to and unconfined ocean disposal at Cape Cod Bay Disposal Site (CCBDS). All dredging and disposal will be completed using floating water-based equipment. The Contractor is responsible for acquiring the final disposal coordinates from USACE New England District. The Contractor shall be aware of work to the Bridge Street drawbridge and section of North Bay Channel that may be closed for construction by others, and plan their work accordingly. Additionally, the Town will allow usage of Cotuit Town Dock for one (1) vessel, with maximum berth of 45-feet, associated with dredging operations this fall/winter in Three Bays and/or mooring of one (1) vessel up to 40-feet in the Cotuit Bay Mooring field.
