Description:

The Work comprises, but is not limited to: mobilization; traffic control; selective 2-inch asphalt concrete grind and overlay; full-width 1.5-inch asphalt concrete grind and overlay; crack seal; application of Type I conventional slurry; adjust existing utility manhole and water valve can covers to final grade; removal and installation of vehicle detector loops; and restoration of striping, pavement markings/markers, and legends, in various residential areas within the City of Chino hills.

Work shall be completed in compliance with approved Project Design Plans and Specifications, on file with the City Clerk.

Qualifications:

The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A license at the time of submitting bids.

Special Requirements:

10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. It shall be mandatory, upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council as they apply to the work being performed. Said prevailing rates are available from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations website (**See link under Description).
