NOTICE INVITING BIDS
FY25-26 CITYWIDE SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE PROJECT, ATP-001
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of CUDAHY invites sealed bids for the above
stated project and will receive such bids in the Office of the City Clerk, City of Cudahy, 5220 Santa
Ana Street Cudahy, CA 90201, up to the hour of 11:00 AM, on January 6, 2026. Any bids
received late will be returned unopened. The bids received will be publicly opened approximately
15 minutes after the bid submittal deadline in the City Council Chambers.
The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as described
in detail in the Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications to construct the project.
Major work components include grinding and/or lateral sawcutting existing concrete sidewalks,
removing and replacing existing concrete sidewalks and all related work as per plans and
specification.
Copies of the Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications can be obtained as
follows:
1. Please e-mail your request with your contact information to: luis.ramirez@transtech.org.
Upon receipt of your e-mail, you will be registered as a plan holder, and a pdf file of the
Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications will be e-mailed to you at no
cost.
2. Hard copy of the Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications will not be
provided.
The project shall be completed within 20 working days of the effective date of Citys Notice to
Proceed.
Estimated cost is $60,000.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the City of CUDAHY for an amount
no less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount.
Required License Classification is State of California, Class A-General Engineering Contractor.
This project is subject to the requirements of SB 854. Prevailing wages shall be paid to all workers
in accordance with California Labor Code 1771. All Bidders and listed subcontractors must be
currently registered with the California State Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor
Code §1725.5 prior to submitting a Bid.
