The Town of Stallings invites qualified construction contractors to submit bids for the Town of Stallings’ FY 2026 Repair and Resurfacing Program to complete resurfacing on several roadways located in the Town of Stallings.
Bids are due no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, July 10, 2025, to the following address:

The bid opening will occur on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 2:05p.m. at the following address:

If three bids are not received by the Thursday, July 10, 2025, deadline, the Town will re-advertise for bids beginning on Thursday, July 10, 2025, with a submission deadline of Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The contractor(s) may choose to leave their unopened bid(s) with the Town to hold until the second and final bid opening that will occur on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 2:05 p.m.

Addendum No. 1
Asphalt Resurfacing Bid Package – FY 2026
Date: June 20, 2025
The following clarifications are issued in response to contractor inquiries and shall be considered part of the contract documents. All bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their submitted bid.
1. Asphalt Overlay – Lift Requirements
All 3-inch asphalt overlays shall be placed in two (2) 1.5-inch lifts. Tack coat shall be applied between the lifts. This applies to all streets included in the scope of work.
2. Surface Course Mix Type
Surface Course Type C may be used for both lifts. This mix is acceptable for residential streets and is preferred for smoother finish and workability in thinner layers. Bidders are not required to use Type B surface mix.
3. Pavement Markings
For pavement markings, standard traffic paint (not thermoplastic) shall be used unless otherwise noted in the bid documents.
