Notes
The City of Upper Arlington is seeking a vendor to provide the furniture for its new Community Center.


The facility features office suites, a cafe, program rooms, an indoor pool/party room, outdoor patios, and

small soft seating areas. These areas are throughout the entire facility, and there will be elevator access

for all floors above ground level.


The design features a transitional design aesthetic. As this is a high traffic facility, all seats will require a

moisture back and all furniture will need to be easily cleaned. Additionally, all furniture must be

comfortable and sturdy.


All Bids must be received through IonWave.


The City of Upper Arlington encourages all businesses, including minority and women-owned businesses to respond.

Question
With regards to the installation of the furniture:
Install during normal business hours M-F?
Is there a dock? Will we need a truck with a lift-gate?
We see the elevators in the plans. Is there a freight elevator?
What kind of material will the ACC-01 boards, ACC-02 hooks and B-02 pool benches be anchored to?
Answer Furniture will be installed during normal business hours Monday through Friday. There is no dock for unloading. There are 3 total elevators between the freight and passenger ones. The passenger elevators may be used to transport some of the furniture. There are some areas that are drywall with blocking and most of the others are concrete block/concrete for the benches.

What is meant by "wet-rated" on page 97 addendum 2, T-04A flip top table.
Answer T-04A should be rated to be in a chlorine environment – Corian or the Wilsonart laminate that is listed in the spec.

OT-02: Counting total of (2) on plans. In 2-D1, only one is colored in red and tagged. Is the table in the middle of the OC-05 chairs supposed to be an OT-02? In 5-D1, only qty. of (1) is shown and tagged. Please confirm qty. needed.
Answer Qty 5 will be needed. 3 will be on 2-D1 and 2 will be on 5-D1 since the size of the table is smaller than the original space plan.

ACC-1: Specs show that Room 126 is supposed to have (1) ACC-1, but it is not labeled or shown on plans. Room 120 shows (1) ACC-1, but room is not called out in the list of rooms on spec page. If both rooms are to receive an ACC-1 then we are counting a total of (22). Please confirm qty. needed.
Answer This is a typo – this should be 120 for ACC-01.

OT-03: Please confirm if this is supposed to be a 32" diameter round table as shown on the plan. Spec calls out a 32"x32" square table. Also, please confirm height of table is to be bar height 42"H to go with OC-04 stools.
Answer Specification is correct. And yes should be correct height to go with stools.
