Library Furniture INVITATION TO BID

After review of the factors set forth in the Instructions to Bidders Section 002113, the Town reserves the right to make an award, or to decline to make an award to whomever they choose.
All bidders must include the following information in the subject line of their email:
· Category and Description – BID 25/26-16, Library Furniture
· Project Name: Manchester Public Library (MPL)
· Example: BID 25/26-16, Library Furniture MPL

Bids will be received until October 16, 2025 @ 3:00 p.m., at which time and place said bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.

No oral, telephone, telegraphic or hard copy proposals will be considered. All bids shall stand available for acceptance for a period of ninety (90) days from the date proposal are received.
Deadlines
· Bidder questions: 10/7/2025 (by 3:00pm)
· Final Addenda postings: 10/9/2025
· Bid Opening: 10/16/25 @ 3:00pm
· Deliveries & Installation: 4/13/2026 to 5/1/2026 (subject to adjustments)

Answers in the form of an addenda, shall be posted to the Town of Manchester’s bid site https://www.manchesterct.gov/Government/Departments/Purchasing/BIDS and O&G SmartBidNet bid site https://securecc.smartinsight.co/#/PublicBidProject/826525
Bidders shall be held accountable for the requirements of all documents made available including subsequently issued Addenda, if any.
Bidders should note the Town of Manchester’s insurance requirements.
The Town of Manchester reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities, omissions, or technical defects, if it deems such to be in the best interest of the Town.
