FURNISHING OF VARIOUS CANCER SCREENINGS AND DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES

It is the intention of these specifications to provide prospective providers the requirements for the Furnishing of Various Cancer Screening and Diagnostic Services as required by the Department of Public Safety & Health, Office of Health Services. The County of Middlesex will reimburse the service provider the Medicaid rate in effect at the time the service was provided. By signing the Price Certification document, the provider agrees to accept the Medicaid reimbursement rate in effect at the time the service was rendered as full payment of the service.

The Cancer Education and Early Detection Program is a grant-funded health screening program available to residents of New Jersey who meet State mandated criteria. The program is targeted to those men and women who have no health insurance or whose health insurance does not cover screening, and who meet income guidelines. The screenings include:

• Breast cancer
• Cervical cancer
• Prostate cancer
• Colorectal cancer
