FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF SOLID WASTE SERVICES

Middlesex County is soliciting bid proposals from solid waste collectors interested in providing solid waste collection and/or disposal services for a period of three (3) years, to commence on or about August 21, 2026, and ending on or about August 20, 2029, in accordance with the terms of these Bid Specifications and N.J.A.C. 7:26H-6 et seq.

Currently, The County's solid waste removal requirements are being met through the following contracts:

• B-22-139 - THE FURNISHING OF SOLID WASTE COLLECTION (as required by the Office of Parks & Recreation)
• B-23-446 - FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF SOLID WASTE SERVICES (as required by the Office of Facilities Management)

Going forward, and as detailed in these specifications, the requirements for B-22-139 will be consolidated with those of contract B-23-446 with day-to-day operations and administration for the resulting contract (B-26-446) to be managed by the newly created Office of Infrastructure Operations. B-26-446 shall supersede B-22-139 and B-23-446.
