Summary

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Manchester, Connecticut, herein called the Town, acting by and through its Town Manager will receive sealed Bids for project Bid No. 24/25-25 FURNISH AND INSTALL COMMUNICATIONS TOWER AT 358 SOUTH MAIN STREET . Bids will be accepted via the Town's eProcurement Portal until 2:00 pm on Friday, November 22, 2024 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bids may be submitted prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered.

Background

Work under this contract includes the furnishing and installation of a 180' tall steel communications tower at 358 South Main Street in Manchester. It includes a complete installation with appurtenant work including, but not limited to, installation of electrical service, security fencing and lighting, and site preparation, grading and restoration.

The Project Schedule for this project is projected to be completed within ONE HUNDRED (100) WORKING DAYS (contract days).
