REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY
CDBG PUBLIC SERVICE ACTIVITIES
CITY OF HATTIESBURG
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Hattiesburg is accepting proposals from qualified
nonprofit organizations and eligible entities to provide public service activities funded through
the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Programs must benefit low-to-
moderate-income residents and address identified community needs in accordance with the U.
S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations.
Request for Proposals (RFP) will be received no later than 10:00 a.m. (CST), Thursday, April
30,2 026, in the City Clerk's Office in City Hall. Full RFP details, eligibility requirements, and
application instructions are available at: https://www.hattiesburgms.com/public-notices/.
Completed proposals should be mailed or hand-delivered to the following address: City
of Hattiesburg, Office of the Clerk, P. O. Box 1898, 200 Forrest Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39403-
1898, (601) 545-4552.
Each proposal must be received in a sealed envelope which is marked in the lower left-
hand corner with the words "Request for Qualifications - CDBG Public Service" and the DATE OF
BID OPENING ("Thursday, April 30, 2026").
