Fuller Avenue Water M ain Improvements
The City of Big Rapids is requesting Bids for the construction of Fuller Avenue Wate r M ain
Improvements project . Bids for the construction of the project will be received at the C ity of Big Rapids
City Offices located at 226 N. Michigan Avenue, Big Rapids, MI 49307 until 2:00 p.m. local time,
Monday, March 9, 2026 At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read .
Items of work include approximately 2,000 feet of open cut 1 2 ” ductile iron water main , lateral water
service connections of various sizes, water services and hydrants as well as pavement and sidewalk
repairs , including milling and resurfacing of the complete width of the roadway from Escott Street to
State Street .
Prospective Bidders may request the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. The Issuing Office
of the Bidding Documents is: Fleis & VandenBrink, 2690 Lucerne Drive SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546
email: bidroom@fveng.com Telephone : (616) 977 - 1000. Bidding Documents will be emailed in
portable document format (PDF) at no charge ; hard copy documents are not available . Non - biddable
documents may be viewed in the on - line Bid Room at www.fveng.com .
The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the
Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.
A pre - bid conference will not be held.
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award,
refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
The City of Big Rapids reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities
and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Big Rapids.
