Description:

NYS DOCCS is seeking pricing for new and authentic Full Size Heated Cabinets , for a one-time purchase. There is no obligation to purchase. NYS DOCCS reserves the right to make an award in whole or in part, to withdraw the quote at any time, to seek clarifications and revisions of proposals. Do not submit your company’s standard terms and conditions.

ITEM #1: FULL SIZE CABINETS- Single door, holding and transport, heated cabinets for correctional use, Mfg. #UHST-12-NYDOC.

Accepted model must satisfy pre-approved security safety standards for utilization in a correctional setting. Include in your quote only the security options requested. NO Substitutions.

Minimum Specifications:

  • - Lockable transport latch.
  • - Tamper proof fasteners with security screwdriver bit.
  • - Top mounted heating system with top mounted controls.
  • - Fully insulated.
  • - Removable tray slide.
  • - Adjustable thermostat with security cover solid (locking metal control cover with cut out access to on/off switch).
  • - Heating system must be able to maintain product at minimum of 165°. All exterior vents must be covered to
  • prevent water damaging the control panel.
  • - Heavy duty 5’’ casters (2) swivel with brakes and (2) stationary.
  • - 270° door swing with stopper.
  • - Full perimeter bumper.
  • - Magnetic door closure (gasket-less door with hidden magnetic door closure).
  • - Fully welded door hinges (2) or full-length hinge. -Utility 120volts, single phase, maximum 20 amps (Nema
  • 8’cord 5-15p). -UL/NSF certified.
  • -Rear handle(s) for easy maneuverability.
  • -Cabinet construction material: anodized aluminum or stainless steel-minimum 20-gauge exterior.
  • -Approximate exterior dimensions: 28’’wide x 34’’deep x 72’’high.
  • -Racking configuration (tray slide): Minimum 12 shelves spaced 4.5’’ apart.
  • -Holding capacity: Minimum 24-4x12x20 pans and 12-18x26 sheet pans.
