2026 Full Depth Patching Program

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Bettendorf, Iowa, through their electronic bid submission system at https://bettendorf.ionwave.net until 10:00 A.M. on the 26th day of May, 2026, for the 2026 Full Depth Patching Program and related work as described in the plans and specifications now on file in the office of the City Clerk. Bids shall be submitted to the City Council for consideration and action at a subsequent meeting.
The proposed improvements consist of full-depth concrete patching, utility structure repairs and adjustments, and other work associated with the replacement of approximately 3,900 square yards of existing pavement along various streets within the City of Bettendorf, Iowa.
The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall commence work no later than the date to begin work set forth in a Notice to Proceed, issued by the City, or its authorized representative, to the Contractor at the preconstruction meeting. All work shall be done in strict compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer of the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department of Bettendorf, Iowa.
All work on this contract shall begin on or after June 15, 2026 and be completed by October 30, 2026. These completion dates will be included in and made part of the contract between the successful bidder and the City. Liquidated damages in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($500.00) per calendar day shall be charged for every day past either of the completion dates for the respective work.
