Description
The City operates under a decentralized procurement system; individual Departments are responsible for purchasing those goods and services required to perform their functions. The Procurement Division acts as a liaison between Departments, responsible for administering & enforcing purchasing policies & procedures; identifying & establishing procurement strategies, methods & processes; and providing assistance with solicitation development, negotiations & contract awards.
All formal solicitations and select informal solicitations (requests for quotes) will be published here and be advertised on the State of Maryland’s eMaryland Marketplace . Vendors interested in doing business with the City should register with eMaryland Marketplace. In addition, vendors may subscribe to the City’s eNewsletter to receive email notifications when new solicitations are published.

The intent of this Request for Proposals is to select a qualified construction firm for the removal and replacement of the three (3) underground fuel tanks, fuel pumps and dispensers, electrical wiring, plumbing, the installation of a new air hose/vacuum system and the installation of a new diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank and a new temperature controlled underground DEF tank located at 800 Rabbitt Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878.
