PRC#:2026-011567 - Fire Training Center Lot (outlined area attached)
The County of Wyoming Buildings and Grounds department is seeking Quotes from qualified contractors to complete
parking lot sealing (one coat) and restriping of an estimated 26,000 square foot parking lot. (Contractor to field measure
to verify square footage)
Address of where the work is to be completed:
Fire Training Center Grounds parking lot, 3651 Wethersfield Rd. Gainesville NY including all attached lot areas. (Map
attached)
e Attached picture: Area outlined in Yellow is an area that will receive new asphalt this year, this is not to be
sealed... The area outlined in white is the area that needs 1 coat of sealant and striping.
e All area outlined in white to receive hot crack repair/sealing
e Entire lot will be vacated for roughly 2 days (48 hours) for work too take place and allowance for curing.
County workforce will Trim/prep all perimeter edges, power sweep, and blow the lot clean so contractor will
have very minimal prep work to complete.
Owner expectations:
e Contractor to apply all sealant utilizing the Squeegee method.
e All work to be completed consecutively
e Striping to be applied as shown or similar to attached picture
e All work to be completed in a professional manner and will not cause any disruption to day-to-day business of
surrounding facilities, sidewalks/walking paths, and neighboring property
e Work completion by August 31, 2026 (work to be scheduled with B&G Director)
Contractor Qualifications:
Prior to Contract award, the contractors quote must qualify for acceptance, the following details must be met.
e Contractors company must have been in business for a minimum of 10 years.
e Contractor must be registered and hold NYS certificate of Contractor registration (NYS DOL LAW 220-1)
e Site tours are Mandatory, and can be scheduled Monday-Friday between 7am and 2pm. with the Buildings and
Grounds office: 585-786-8958
e Contractors' insurance must meet all County requirements prior to date that work commences.
e Provide alist of three completed similar projects in our region that the contractor has completed in the past 12-
month period.
Method of award:
The most qualified contractor whose quote is of best value to Wyoming County will be offered the Project. Upon award
acceptance a binding contract will be drafted.
