From Culture to Connection: Supporting Justice-Involved Latine Communities Through Peer Care

Boulder County Community Justice Services (CJS) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide culturally competent, peer-led support services for Latine clients involved in the criminal justice system with behavioral health needs. Services will be delivered across multiple settings, including the Boulder County Jail, the Boulder County Alternative Sentencing Facility, and Boulder County offices or spaces. This procurement aims to establish a consistent, non-clinical, culturally responsive peer support model that promotes meaningful client engagement, supports recovery, and facilitates successful reentry into the community. This program and contract are contingent on receiving a grant and grant funding. If awarded the grant, the project is anticipated to begin quarter 3 2025.
