QUESTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS
4. Bidder Questions
No questions have been received to date. All bidders' questions shall transmitted via email, shall
contain the project name and number, and shall be sent to Alfonso Gutierrez alfonso.gutierrez@ohm-
advisors.com.
5. Clarifications to the Bidding Documents
a. Previously, this project was described as a parking lot reconstruction. As part of this
addendum, the removal of existing asphalt and base aggregate has been revised to be
HMA crushing and shaping.
b. Excess or unsuitable soil from the contaminated area, as indicated in the revised
drawings, must be disposed of in a licensed type II landfill. Hauling and disposal is paid
as part of a separate unit price. All other excess or unsuitable soil must be removed from
the site and legally disposed of offsite at the contractor's expense.
c. The bid documents require prospective bidders to visit the site prior to bidding.
Contractors should take note that there may be sizeable trees within areas marked for
"Clear and Grub" scope.
d. Appendix B Environmental report is included for Bidder's information only. The contract
drawings and specifications list the requirements for soil disposal from the previous
"recycling dropoff area" on site.
