Frisco Campus Central Utilities Plant Expansion

Collin College is seeking qualified proposals for upgrades to the Frisco Campus Central Utilities Plant.

Pending approval by the Board of Trustees, work must be completed during the course of Fiscal Year 2026. Extreme coordination between the College and the selected contractor will be required to ensure there is no disruption to campus heating or cooling needs. Temporary chillers and/or boilers may be necessary. A requirement of this project is that the campus remains operational at all times, thus the need for heating and cooling must be maintained for the entire duration of this project. After hours, holiday, and weekend work may be required with no additional cost to the College. A project schedule must be submitted with each proposal. The contractor must identify and inform the College of all long lead items (10 weeks+).

The Collin College Frisco Campus is experiencing significant growth while the campus and its infrastructure continues to age. The intent of this project is to replace aging equipment and infrastructure, as well as increase the cooling and heating capacity from the Central Utilities Plant.
