Amendment to solicitation:
Update to statement of work 09/17/2025 available. Refer to detail tasks three and five for the updated information. There has been updates to site visit, questions, and proposal submission information, refer down the description for more details.
Description of Requirement:
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, services, equipment, and supervision necessary to fulfill these requirements onsite at U.S. Coast Guard Station Cape Disappointment. Additionally, the contractor shall install an alarm system that can be activated from inside the freezer to enhance safety.

Specific Tasks:
The contractor shall remove the existing walk-in freezer doors and install two in-kind walk-in freezer doors at the USCG Station Cape Disappointment. The replacement doors must meet all current USCG specifications, ensuring proper insulation, robust sealing to prevent any temperature loss, and full alignment with the freezer structure. The contractor shall add an alarm system that can be triggered from inside the freezer. The contractor shall also conduct a thorough inspection to guarantee that all installations comply with applicable safety and operational standards.
Period of Performance:
Installation will start five business days after award has been made.

Site Visit:
A site visit will be arranged for interested offerors. All interested offerors must arrive no later than five minutes prior to the start time indicated. Each offeror is highly encouraged to visit the site to provide the government with an accurate and competitive offer but is not required to submit a quote.

E-mail all questions regarding to this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist Michelle Myhra at Michelle.M.Myhra2@uscg.mil with solicitation RFQ number 70Z03325QSEAT00081 in subject line. Questions regarding the statement of work (SOW) will be forwarded to the unit for an accurate response. All responses will be uploaded for an equal and fair solicitation to all interested vendors. No more questions will be answered after 09/23/2025 at 12pm (PST).
Proposal submission:
All proposal submissions shall be required to be on SF 1449 with a breakdown of materials and labor. Submit quotes to the following E-mail Address Michelle.M.Myhra2@uscg.mil with solicitation RFQ number 70Z03325QSEAT00081 in the subject line. Date of proposals due on 09/24/2025 at 3pm (PST). All offers that are submitted late (by day and time zone) and quotes that do not include a breakdown of cost will not be considered in award determination.
Award:
It is the government’s intent to select for award to the one responsible quote which proposes a price that is fair and reasonable and provides the best value to the government that meets or exceeds the specifications of the requirement. The contracting officer will evaluate the proposals based on past performance and technical acceptability. Quotes determined to be incomplete, unreasonable, or unrealistic will not be considered for award. Under FAR 4.1103 prospective contractor shall be registered in System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Failure for contractor to be registered in SAM shall result in Contracting Officer to proceed with next successful registered offeror. Website: www.sam.gov
