Description:

The City of Cambridge Department of Public Works is soliciting sealed proposals from State

licensed marine contractors for the reconstruction of a portion of the timber breakwater at the

Franklin Street boat ramp. Work consists of reconstruction of approximately 170 linear feet of

breakwater in accordance with the project specifications and the approved tidal wetlands license.Â

This project is being funded by a grant from the DNR Waterway Improvement Fund. If the total

bid price exceeds $250,000, the project is subject to State of Maryland prevailing wage rates

which shall be included as part of the bid. The City of Cambridge reserves the right to reject any and all bids

and/or waive informalities or irregularities as it may deem best for its interest.
