The City of Springfield is seeking bids from qualified firms to enter into an agreement for classroom casework replacement at Frank H Freedman Elementary School, 90 Cherokee Dr, Springfield, MA 01109. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 149 and other procurement statutes. Chapter 149 requires that the Prime/General Contractor be certified by the State Division of Capital Asset Management. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $650,000.00.

It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on 5/6/26 at 3:30 P.M. on-site. All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement on or before 5/7/26 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. MA DLS Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
