NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Qualified bidders may submit sealed bids for the “FORT MADISON FIRE STATION” project to the City Clerk at City Hall, 811 Avenue E, Fort Madison, Iowa, until 2:00 P.M., on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Any bids received after this time will be returned unopened. All bids properly received will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers at Fort Madison City Hall.

A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at the Fort Madison City Hall, 811 Avenue E, Fort Madison, Iowa 52627 in the Council Chambers at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Attendance of the Prebid is MANDATORY for Prime bidders. Subcontractors are encouraged to attend but attendance is not mandatory.

The City of Fort Madison reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to accept the proposal which the City Council deems to be in the best interest of the City.
