Project Summary

This Request for Proposal (RFP) announces the intent of the Mendocino County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) to secure the services of a Professional Engineering Design firm to provide civil engineering, environmental, and project management services for a federally funded Highway Bridge Program (HBP) project.

The bridge replacement project is located on Fort Bragg - Sherwood Road (County Road 419) over Sherwood Creek (Mile Post 31.18), roughly 11.3 miles Northwest of the city of Willits, CA.

This contract has a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 19%.

Submission Information

Vendors must submit four (4) copies of their proposal: three (3) complete paper copies with original Vendor signature, and one (1) complete copy on USB Flash Drive.  The proposal must be formatted in accordance with the instructions of this RFP.  Promotional materials may be attached but are not necessary and will not be considered as meeting any of the requirements of this RFP.  Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked "Mendocino County RFP No. 240035", and delivered by 3:30 p.m. July 14, 2025 to:

Late or facsimile proposals will not be accepted.
