Forsyth County Multi-Juridisctinonal Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

Project Description: Forsyth County, Georgia (the “County”), is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for the update and development of the Forsyth County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The selected consultant will assist the County in updating the existing Hazard Mitigation Plan in accordance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 and FEMA requirements under 44 CFR §201.6, ensuring continued eligibility for federal hazard mitigation assistance programs. The project will include coordination with participating jurisdictions, public outreach, hazard risk assessment, development of mitigation strategies, and preparation of FEMA-compliant plan for review, adoption, and final approval.
