Notice is hereby given that Philadelphia Gas Works (“PGW”) will receive sealed proposals via pgw.procureware.com until 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on September 10, 2026, from qualified vendors to provide one or more food service operations at designated PGW locations. Services may include full-service cafeteria operations, grab-and-go food service, catering, and vending services to provide employees with high-quality, reasonably priced food and beverage options, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, coffee, and other refreshments.

This document outlines PGW’s objectives, describes the general characteristics of the services to be provided, and (without being exhaustive) outlines the principal obligations of PGW and the selected Proposer.

Questions concerning this Request for Proposals shall be directed in writing to PGW via pgw.procureware.com. Proposers may not contact PGW personnel regarding this RFP other than through pgw.procureware.com.

Attendance at a Mandatory Bidders’ Conference is required for eligibility to submit a proposal. Session 1 and Session 2 (if warranted by interest) will each include an in-person tour of PGW’s North Operations Center (NOC) at 5000 Summerdale Avenue, and headquarters at 800 W. Montgomery Avenue. Proposers may attend either session; virtual attendance is not permitted.

Finalists selected by PGW will be required to provide a food tasting at 800 W. Montgomery Avenue on a date designated by PGW. Tasting logistics will be communicated to selected finalists following proposal evaluation.

The Mandatory Bidders’ Conference – Session 1 is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on August 18, 2026, at PGW’s North Operations Center (NOC) and headquarter 800 W. Montgomery Avenue, Philadelphia, PA.

NOC Tour: 2:00pm – 2:45pm, 5000 Summerdale Avenue , Philadelphia, PA

Travel to Montgomery: 3:00pm-3:30pm

Montgomery Tour: 3:45pm – 4:30pm, 800 W. Montgomery Avenue, Philadelphia, PA

Session 2 (August 26, 2026) will be held if sufficient interest is registered by Proposers.

Each session will include a guided tour of PGW’s North Operations Center (NOC) at 5000 Summerdale Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, and followed by a tour of the headquarters cafeteria and kitchen facilities at 800 W. Montgomery Avenue. Attendance must be in person; virtual or telephone participation is not available. Proposers must register their intent to attend via pgw.procureware.com no later than three (3) business days prior to the selected session date.

These dates are estimates only and PGW reserves the right to alter this schedule as it deems necessary or appropriate.
