Food Service Concession at Lake George Beach

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (the Department) is seeking bids for the operation of the Food Service Concession at Lake George Beach.

The beach is open weekends only from Memorial Day until the third Saturday in June when it will remain open seven (7) days a week through Labor Day.

The Contract award will require the successful bidder to provide a food service program on premise to the patrons as more specifically described in this IFB. The successful bidder will have the exclusive rights for the Lake George Beach State Park concession only.

The successful bidder will assume responsibility for the efficient management of the food service program in compliance with Department policies; menu planning, preparation of quality specifications, purchasing, receiving, storing, setting up cafeteria lines, counter service, clean up, sanitation, maintenance of areas and equipment as designated; training, hiring, and supervising personnel; and presenting the food to create interest.

Pursuant to the State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k, this IFB, RFP, etc. includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between a Governmental Entity and an Offerer during the procurement process. Offerer shall adhere to the NYS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION GUIDELINES REGARDING PERMISSIBLE CONTACTS DURING A PROCUREMENT AND THE PROHIBITION OF INAPPROPRIATE LOBBYING INFLUENCE.
