Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Folkston located at 541 First Street, Folkston, Georgia on December 11, 2024 until 2:00 p.m. local time for the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Update and Improvements.

The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the WWTP Update and Improvements. More specifically, the project will consist of clearing and grubbing, grading, dredging and cleaning of existing lagoon, granite roadway base, rock drive, asphalt paving, gravity sewer, drainage pipe and structures, electrical controls, erosion control and grassing, complete influent pump station, complete headworks, complete inline pump station, complete SBR system, complete disk filtration system, complete UV disinfection, complete reclaimed water pump station, complete sludge dewatering system, emergency power supply, transformer, and laboratory casework.

A mandatory pre-bid conference and facility visit will be held on November 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will be conducted at the City of Folkston WWTP, 660 Gowen Drive, Folkston, Georgia 31537. A site visit will be required immediately following the meeting.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Award of the contract, if it is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder.
