FNS Grease Traps Maintenance & Service

The El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide routine maintenance and service for grease traps, sewage holding tanks, and lift stations for the Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) Department on a districtwide basis.

The purpose of this solicitation is to secure comprehensive maintenance services that ensure the safe, sanitary, and efficient operation of kitchen and wastewater systems supporting District food service operations. Services shall include, but are not limited to, the scheduled pumping, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, and proper disposal of fats, oils, and grease (FOG) and other accumulated waste from grease traps, interceptors, sewage holding tanks, and lift stations.

Routine maintenance is essential to prevent blockages, sewer backups, equipment failures, and other operational disruptions. These services also support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local health, environmental, and wastewater regulations; minimize odors and pest concerns; and protect District facilities from unplanned downtime and costly repairs.

By procuring these services, EPISD seeks to maintain safe, clean, and reliable food service operations while protecting District infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the health and well-being of students and staff.
