Flood Mapping Study for the Communities around Lac La Ronge

WSA requires a consultant to undertake a study that advances the Saskatchewan Flood Mapping Program. The scope of the study will include collecting all required field survey data and undertaking all technical analyses required to create regulatory quality flood hazard maps for the Northern Village of Air Ronge (Air Ronge) and the Town of La Ronge (La Ronge), both situated on the western shore of Lac La Ronge and along the Montreal River.

WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels.
