Fleet Truck and Heavy Equipment Services

Yolo County is currently seeking bids for truck and equipment services, which include approximately 12 heavy-duty trucks, 28 pieces of powered equipment for landfill and road maintenance, as well as a range of auxiliary equipment, including diesel, electric, and propane-powered forklifts, along with various specified trailers.

The scope of services required includes automotive maintenance and repair for a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, and small equipment. These services encompass inspections, scheduled maintenance (such as oil and filter changes, sensor replacements, and spark plug changes), the replacement of wear items (including tires, brakes, and batteries), emissions testing for both gas and diesel vehicles, along with adjustments, alignments, diagnostics, and the replacement of sub-assemblies and major components.

Additionally, the contract may include specialty services as required, including the servicing and repair of hybrid and electric vehicles, hydraulic systems, body repairs, and glass repairs and replacements, as well as recalibrating sensors. It is important to note that service shops must be located within Yolo County, California, with a preference for locations in Woodland, CA, or within a thirty-minute commute (one-way) to ensure accessibility.
