The 76th AMXG is requesting the purchase one (1) Flash Thermography. This
Flash thermography NDI system including hardware and software meeting the below technical requirements:
1. Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR) camera specifications:
(1) InSb (Indium Antimonide) Focal Plane Array (FPA) IR detector with minimum resolution of 640X500;
(2) 17mm 3-5 micron f/2.5 lens;
(3) 14-bit digital output of 120 Hz at full frame;
(4) on-board NUC and bad pixel replacement with user adjustable frame rate and FPA windowing;
(5) built-in micro rotary Stirling cooler with 5000 hours of minimum MTTF.
2. Flash illumination system:
(1) Two flash lamps with hood, capable of uniformly illuminating a minimum of 10"X10" surface area.
(2) User programmable flash controller with flash delay function, synchronized flash triggering, accepts external TTL+ trigger for enabling event based data acquisition; flash pulse width must cover 2 to 20ms range with intervals less than 0.2ms.
(3) Remote triggered high energy power supply.
3. Data acquisition computer: ruggedized PC with multi-core processor with minimum specs as follows: 250GB SSD, 2TB HDD, DVD-R/RW drive, 64 GB RAM, 6GB PCIe video GPU, Gigabit NIC, 32" HD flat panel display and Microsoft Windows 10 or newer operating system.
4. Signal reconstruction software functions:
(1) converting live acquisition or data files to reconstructed format;
(2) saving data files in reconstructed raw;
(3) 1st and 2nd time derivative of single or multiple image sequences;
(4) other image processing functions including mean, median, high-pass filtering, and overlapping functions that can be stored for repeated tasks;
(5) archiving data in TW2 format or movies.
