The City of Gloucester seeks sealed bids, Bid #26100, Fixed Vendor Locations - for Hawkers, Peddlers & Transient Licenses for eleven (11) available sites within the City. The following locations are subject to license award: Site (1) Washington St./Poplar St., Site (2) Washington St./Plum Cove, Site (3) Western Ave./Public Landing, Site (4) Hough Ave four spaces in southern parking lot, Site (5) Visitor’s Center parking lot at Stage Fort Park, Site (6) Rogers St in front of Fitz H. Lane parking lot, and at the southwest corner of the east entrance to Harbor Loop, Site (9) Rogers Street, twenty five feet from its intersection with Harbor Loop at the southwest corner of the west entrance to Harbor Loop, Site (11-5-c) Solomon Jacobs Landing Floats, 19 Harbor Loop solely for the operation of a water taxi/shuttle.  Minimum bid price has been established at two hundred ($200.00) dollars, with no maximum, as set by the City Council. A Certified or Cashier’s Check for the full amount of the bid, payable to the City of Gloucester must accompany each bid submitted.
