AHSD 25 Fitness Equipment Bid
Addendum Issued:
Thursday, October 22, 2026
Question 1:
Can an itemized list be provided to identify the existing equipment (and quantities) to be extracted from
both schools?
Answer:
Yes, please see below:

Question 2:
The Schwin AC Sport bike does not come standard with a console. Would you like these included in the
bids for Thomas? Note: The optional console for the AC Sport is the Echelon 2 and allows for user data
including Time, kCal, RPM, and Heart Rate. MSRP for this console is $439 for the console and $39 for the
additional wiring kit.
Answer:
No, we would not like consoles included in the bids.
Question 3:
Trade-in credit: We'd be glad to take the existing equipment as a trade-in and apply its value toward the
labor on the removal portion. Would the District allow this as an alternate or credit line on the bid form?
Answer:
Yes, if you would like to apply a total credit for existing equipment, please add a line below the "total
equipment price" cell. Please label it as a trade in credit. Total Price = (Total Equipment Price + Total
Delivery/Install/Removal) - Credit
Question 4:
Splitting the bid: Would the District consider awarding the removal/disposal of the existing equipment
separately from the new equipment purchase and installation?
Answer:
Not at this time. Since the original bid documents did not specify removal/disposal and install as
separate line items of the bid, we will not consider splitting the award based upon this criteria.
Question 5:
Brands: Will equivalent brands be accepted as alternates to the models listed, provided we include
literature and warranty details?
Answer:
Per section III. specifications, of the instructions for bidders, alternates will be accepted.
Question 6:
We're reviewing the specifications and looking at alternative equipment options.
Would you be open to a brief call/meeting or site visit?
Answer:
Per section III. specifications, of the instructions for bidders, alternates will be accepted. Once the bid is
submitted, during the review process, we may reach out to schedule a site visit of a location utilizing the
alternates specified.
