This project is located at 115 North Elm Avenue, Ames, IA 50010. The Project includes the construction of a new single story, indoor aquatic center consisting of a lap pool, recreation pool, and wellness pool. The plans and specifications are now on file in the office of the City Clerk. Bidding documents for the above project are also available at the office of the Printer, Action Reprographics, 5037 NE 14th Street, Des Moines, IA 50313, by calling 515-288-2146, or through their online Plan Room at https://planroom.actionrepro.com/jobs/public from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, upon receipt of a deposit in the amount of $250 for each set of documents. Checks or money orders only (no cash) will be accepted for the deposit and should be made payable to the City of Ames. The deposit will be refunded to those firms and corporations submitting proposals to the City Council as specified above, to the suppliers and subcontractors of the successful bidder, and to those firms and corporations not submitting proposals to the City Council and returning the plans and specifications in good condition within thirty (30) days after the Bid Opening. If shipping is required, there will be a non-refundable fee required for each set shipped. The cost shall be determined by Action Reprographics based on the size of the bidding documents. Checks for shipping shall be made out to Action Reprographics. Members of contractor associations such as Associated Builders and Contractors of Iowa and Master Builders of Iowa may obtain Bidding Documents by use of the non-cash security method adopted by their association. |
