The purpose of this IFB is to establish a firm fixed price, lump sum contract with one qualified Contractor to provide clearing of trees, shrubs, removal of existing asphalt pathway, timber handrails remnants of existing dock and fabricate new concrete pathway, bulkhead, and fishing pier requiring piles in lake. The lake will not be lowered for dry conditions. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all resources and expertise required for completion and acceptance of this project in accordance with this IFB, Project Specifications, Engineering Drawings, and the General & Special Construction Terms and Conditions attached hereto and included herein. This solicitation is issued by the Fauquier County Government Procurement Division on behalf of the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia, herein referred to for convenience as “Owner.” Board of Supervisors approval is required for contract awards.
