Contract Opportunity

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego is seeking capable sources and industry input to provide Firefighting equipment. There is no incumbent, the required delivery date is 15 JAN 2025. The anticipated award date is 16 DEC 2024. It is anticipated that the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted on 03 DEC 2025. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price contract type.

If interested in this opportunity, please submit a capabilities statement (the capability statement shall be no more than three (3) pages in length) with SOW feedback by 27 October 2024 at 02:00 PM PST and shall be submitted to Ms. Chelsey Hernandez-Guevara at chelsey.l.hernandez-guevara.civ@us.navy.mil.

The Government is performing market research in order to determine if small businesses possess the capability to execute the requirements within this acquisition. Respondents need to indicate all small business designations. Interested business firms who meet the capability requirements identified in this notice are requested to reply to this notice with a response. Based upon small business responses received, consideration will be given to defining what part of the acquisition, if any, will be set-aside for small business competition.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Interested contractors are to submit the following information: company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address; Unique Entity ID, and information regarding your company’s experience identifying: contracting agency, contract number, title, place of performance, years of performance, and value of contract per year. Interested firms should submit a document which furnishes information describing contractor support to the Firefighting equipment: The submissions should be Times New Roman, font size 12 and should not exceed eight (8) one-sided, 8 " X 11" pages in Microsoft Word or PDF format to t contract specialist via email to: chelsey.l.hernandez-guevara.civ@us.navy.mil . Submissions must be received via email no later than 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on 27 November 2025. Questions or comments regarding this notice shall be posted to the Contract Negotiator in writing and via EMAIL ONLY. No phone calls will be accepted.

This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Navy will not assume liability for costs incurred by a company for capability statement preparation or marketing efforts; therefore, any cost in response to this notice not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.

NO HARDCOPY OR FACSIMILE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Cover letters and extraneous materials (brochures, etc.) will not be considered. Personal visits for the purpose of discussing this announcement will not be scheduled. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL.
