Fire Truck Bid

The Town Board of the Town of Chester, Warren County, NY, does hereby invite sealed bids with an offer to purchase:

• One (1) 1985 GMC Gas Fire Truck. Minimum bid $2,000. All bids must be in a sealed envelope marked "Fire Truck Bid."  Item can be seen at the Town of Chester Highway Garage, 31 Landfill Road, Chestertown, NY 12817.
• One (1) 2005 Sterling Diesel Tandem Dump Truck. Minimum bid $15,000. All bids must be in a sealed envelope marked “Dump Truck Bid.” Item can be seen at in front of Peckham Materials, State Route 9, Chestertown, NY 12817.
• One (1) 2 ½ - 3-yard Stainless Steel Spreader with gas engine.  No minimum bid. All bids must be in a sealed envelope marked “Spreader Bid.” Item can be seen at the Town of Chester Highway Garage, 31 Landfill Road, Chestertown, NY 12817.

Bids will be accepted by the Town Clerk, PO Box 467, Chestertown, NY, or in person at the Town Hall, 6307 State Route 9, Chestertown, on or before July 7, 2025 at 1:00 pm.  All bids received pursuant to this notice will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Town Clerk’s Office at 6307 State Route 9, Chestertown, NY on July 7, 2025 at 1:00 pm.

The Town Board of the Town of Chester reserves the right to reject any or all bids offered.
