April 24, 2026 Request for Quote The City of Columbus wishes to make certain public improvements:
Project #CFD 26-02
Fire Station #1 - Masonry Repairs You are invited to submit a quote to complete the above named public improvement. Quotes will be accepted only through the electronic bidding system, Ion Wave Technologies. All responses are due prior to the published closing date and time No mailed, emailed, faxed, hand delivered or late responses will be accepted. Submitted quotes will be opened and taken under advisement at the City of Columbus’ Board of Public Works and Safety (BPWS) meeting that morning. Following verification of the lowest responsive and responsible quote, an award will be made at the next BPWS meeting.
The City of Columbus expressly reserves the right to reject any and all quotes.
The signed Quote Form will be the contract.
You are required to submit a fully executed Comprehensive Compliance Form (CCF) along with the contract.
You are required to submit a copy of the Certificate of Liability Insurance with the quote. Insurance coverage is required in the amount of not less than Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000) for any one person, nor less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) for any one accident.
The work must be completed by
July 31, 2026
. Failure to complete projects on time will result in the deduction of $100 per calendar day, not counting weekends and holidays, as liquidated damages, from any money due the Contractor.
Contractor will be required to obtain a Request for Special Use of Right of Way for any street, traffic lane, alley, parking space or sidewalk closure.
