Fire Station 52 Living Quarters Replacement

The City of San Antonio (City), PublicWorks Department (PWD) is issuing a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals(RFCSP) for qualified firms (Respondents) to provide construction services forthe Fire Station #52 Living Quarters Replacement Improvements, located at 10440Quintana Rd, Von Ormy, TX 78073.

On November 10, 2022, City Councilapproved Ordinance 2022-11-10-0872 authorizing the negotiation and execution of25 Professional Services Contracts of which Alamo Architects, Inc. was selectedto design the Fire Station 52 Replacement project. Alamo Architects wasoriginally selected to design a 9,000 square foot addition to the exitingapparatus bays for Fire Station 52 replacing the existing temporaryadministration and housing areas at the station. Subsequent programming has determinedthat to provide a fully functional station that meets the needs of the assignedarea of operations an additional apparatus bay and supporting equipment bunkerneeds to be provided. New construction to include one (1) EMS bay with PavementVehicle Exhaust System, USDD Fire Alerting System /Joker Stand, Kitchen/Dining,Day Room, Public Lobby, Offices, Officers’ dorms, Fire Fighters’ dorms, EMSdorms and quarters. Exercise room, laundry, restrooms, and bathrooms,mechanical and electrical rooms, IT room, emergency generator, mechanical yard,storage, public and staff parking, entrance and exit drives, landscaping.
