Fire Station #1 Flooring

The Town of Dracut invites written quotes from qualified contractors for the labor and materials for the removal of old and installation of new +/- 1010 square feet of carpet and +/- 270 liner feet of cove base in the Gym area and three bunk rooms at the Dracut Fire Department, 488 Pleasant Street, Dracut, Ma 01826.

There is also an Add/Alt being requested to install +/-1000 square feet of vinal t and +/- 310 linear feet of rubber base molding. These areas are the Living Room, Kitchen, two Hallways and two closets.

Documents can be downloaded at https://www.dracutma.gov/Bids.aspx as of January 8, 2025.  Any addenda that may be issued will also be posted on the project website. Vendors are responsible to check back for any addenda that may be issued. Failure to acknowledge an addendum could result in rejection of quote.

Contractors must use the enclosed form for quotation. Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 sec.44A (2) (A) and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

There will be two dates for a mandatory site visit.   The dates/times are January 14, 2025, 10AM and January 16, 2025, at 10AM at 488 Pleasant Street, Dracut, MA 01826.

Contractors interested in quoting must attend at least one site visit.

Any award made of $25,000.00 and above, the awarded contractor must furnish a 50% payment bond. The awarded contractor must provide a certificate of liability insurance, 50% payment bond and W-9, along with the signed contract to the town within 10 days.

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities. Conditional quotes will not be accepted. Quotes that are incomplete, not properly endorsed, or signed, will be rejected
