For the provision of

FIRE STATION#8 BAY DOOR REPLACEMENT

Hall County, Georgia, (herein “County” or “Owner”) a municipal entity of the State of Georgia, located at 2875 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30504, hereby gives this Addendum #1 on the project known as Fire Station #8 Bay Door Replacement (herein “Services”) located at 6175 Gaines Ferry Road - Flowery Branch, GA 30542.

The following questions were asked or submitted by various vendors.  The answers are provided in bold lettering.

Will the tracks be replaced as well? – Yes, and they need to be 3 inch tracks instead of the current 2 inch tracks.

Do the new doors need windows? – Yes.  They need to have single pane windows and be located at eye level.

What type of doors need to be installed? – Non-insulated, single pane aluminum doors.

What color do the new doors need to be? – The same as the current doors, brown/bronze.

What is the current voltage of the lift motors? – 208, 3 Phase voltage.

What type of operator would you like to go back with? Existing is Overhead Door and Lift Master, either or? - Go back with the same operator as existing (Lift Master).

You're calling out a replacement of existing brush seals. Upon inspection they look very new (and are costly) Please confirm replacement, and if replacing, would you like reverse angle seal or brush seal? - Just replace brush seals as needed only.

Would you like to keep existing safety sensor or replace with updated safety curtain (4' high strip eye) that most Fire Stations are using? - Use the latest updated safety sensors.

The existing doors have been painted red on the exterior. There is a piece of trim on the header that has been painted red. The new doors will be bronze as decided at the Pre-bid meeting, so will the contractor paint the doors red on the exterior or not, and if not, then will the contractor paint the header trim to match new bronze finished doors? - Can the red header trim be replaced with med bronze? If not then the contractor will need to paint.
