Description: The Contractor shall provide on-site fire protection staff to perform preventative maintenance (PM), testing, and repair/remediation of deficiencies to water-based fire suppression systems including, but not limited to: sprinklers, standpipe, hoses, hydrants, water supplies, fire service water mains, back flow preventers, fire pumps, fire pump motor controllers, water storage tanks, valves that control system flow, and all appurtenances. Proper interval water-based fire protection testing shall be in accordance with NFPA 25 testing requirements regarding fire alarm signaling code, tamper and flow switches. This Contractor shall work in conjunction with vendors providing digital fire suppression at the discretion of OGS. OGS follows the digital fire alarm testing schedule, when possible, typically during the evenings and weekends, access and weather dependent. Locations
The following minimum requirement must be met by each Proposer: A. Proposing firm must have been in the business of servicing and maintaining a fire protection system for at least five years. -OR- B. The Proposer’s senior management personnel has been actively engaged cumulatively for the Proposer and/or another firm in which they also served as senior personnel for at least the past five years. Provided, however, in the case of the latter situation, the Proposer must have been in business for at least six months.
