Project Description: This project makes upgrades to the existing fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and fire suppression systems on the Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport campus. Scope includes, but is not limited to:
A. Fire alarm control panel upgrades at approximately 25 locations.
B. Corrections of fire alarm deficiencies in terminal buildings and outbuildings.
C. Upgrades for approximately 15 fire department connections and wall hydrants in the parking ramps.
D. Upgrades to approximately 5 sprinkler system backflow prevention devices.
E. Replacement of the Hub Core fire pump controller and electrical feeders.
F. Installation of new fire department standpipes in approximately 10 stairs in Terminal 1.
G. New signage at fire protection equipment in the terminal buildings and parking ramps.
