2026 - Fire - MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES

The City of Compton (“City”) solicits Requests for Proposals (RFP) from qualified individuals to provide consultation services as Medical Director of Emergency Medical Services for The City of Compton’s Fire Department. A formal Request for Proposal (RFP) is accessible from the City’s website at http://www.comptoncity.org/officials/clerk/bids.

The Medical Director is responsible to the Fire Chief of the City of Compton’s Fire Department. He/she will work in conjunction with the Fire Chief, (3) Battalion Chiefs, EMS Captain, and other staff, as well as all personnel affiliated with the City of Compton’s Fire Department. He/she will work with participating hospital staff and their administration as well as participating emergency services and state and local governmental agencies.

II. PROPOSAL DUE DATE AND LOCATION

All proposals will be received in the office of the City Clerk, City of Compton, 205 South Willowbrook Avenue, Compton, California, 90220 at 205 South Willowbrook Avenue, Compton, CA 90220, until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Written proposal responses must submit three (3) copies of your proposal.

The term of the agreement will be three (3) years, beginning on effective date of the agreement.

Three (3) Year Term – July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029
