Fire Hydrant Maintenance, Repair, and Parts

Project Description: The City of Tempe is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain the services of a company to provide fire hydrant maintenance, repair, and parts for the City’s fire hydrants. The initial contract will be for a period of one-year with supplemental terms up to four years exercisable based on future pricing and performance of the awarded company.
The awarded company is to provide all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to make needed repairs and provide maintenance. Materials and parts will be provided by the City of Tempe Warehouse. Note: If materials or parts are not made available by Tempe for any reason, with permission from the City, the Contractor can procure necessary parts and invoice the City for the cost of the parts and a mark-up of no more than 10%.
The City reserves the right to award Contracts to multiple companies. The actual utilization of any Contract will be at the sole discretion of the City. The fact that the City may make multiple awards should be taken into consideration by each Offeror.
