Fire Alarm & sprinkler systems inspections, maintenance and repairs

The Town of Dracut invites written quotes from contractors, in accordance with M.G.L. c 149, for inspections, maintenance and repairs of fire Alarm & sprinkler systems, within Town Owned buildings, excluding schools.

The Project consists of: Fire alarm testing and sprinkler inspections and repairs, in accordance with 527 CMR 1.00 Ch 13, Sec 10.6.4 for annual testing and 527 CMR 1.00 Ch 10 Sec 10.2.3 for report submissions.

Sprinkler Systems: 527 CMR 1.00 Ch 13 Sec 13.3.3 for annual testing 527 CMR 1.00 Ch 10 Sec 10.2.3 for report submissions

A one-year contract shall be awarded pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L. 149, to the responsive and responsible quote offering the lowest total estimated price.

These specifications are in anticipation of funding. All contracts are voided if funds are not available.

Contractors must use the enclosed form for quotation. Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 sec.44A(2)(A) and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

There will be a site visit on July 29, 2025, at 9AM.  Meet at 62 Arlington Street, Dracut, MA 01826.This is not mandatory but encouraged.

The awarded vendor must supply the Town of Dracut with a 50% payment bond if the estimated contract value is above $25,000.

The awarded vendor will be responsible for costs for and bonds and/or insurance.

Quote package will be available electronically at https://www.dracutma.gov/Bids.aspx, as of July 23, 2025.

The Town of Dracut reserves the right to cancel the quote request, reject any or all quotes and waive informalities.
