DETERMINATION AND FINDINGS TO CANCEL SOLICITATION

Caption: Financial Statements Auditing Services
1. Minimum Need:
The Administrative Services Division, Procurement and Contracts Branch have a need to
cancel the above referenced Request for Task Order Proposals solicitation.
2. Estimated Fair and Reasonable Cost:
The estimated reasonable cost is yet to be determined if proposals are received.
3. History of Procurement:
On Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 , the Administrative Service Division, Procurement and
Contracts Branch issued the above referenced Request for Task Order Proposals via the
DC Courts Intranet. The solicitation was requesting for Financial Statements Auditing
Services for the Budget & Finance Division of the DC Courts.
Amendment A01 was issued on Friday, March 20th, 2026, to extend the dates to receive
questions from Offerors to Friday, March 27, 2026, and the closing date to Friday,
April 17th, 2026, respectively. Also, the award date was extended to June 2026.
It was determined that it would be in the best interest of the Courts to cancel this
solicitation.
4. Facts Which Justify Cancellation:
Due to budgetary constraints, the DC Courts determined that it will be in its interest to
extend current services for an additional year for proper planning.

Solicitation Cancellation
Determination
Based on the above findings, it is hereby determined that the subject solicitation is hereby
canceled in accordance with the Procurement Guidelines of the District of Columbia Courts
Chapter 1 - General Procurement Provisions Sections 106.13 and 106.14. It is further
determined that the action taken is in the best interest of the D.C. Courts.
